the wax ring seal for toilets cost 97 cents at wal-mart. best lube for sleeve take-downs and string wax. a year's supply.
duco cement - half the cost of bohning glue.
that kind of stuff.

Usually when somebody is getting a new toilet, they will let you have their old wax seal for free! <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>
I use the super glue gels from regular stores instead of Fletch tite instant glue. Lot cheaper, but still expensive.
I will probably think of some more later

Boy you two guy's crack me up. You spend 500 bucks on a bow and wax it with toilet wax and try to save 50 cents on glue for your feathers. We got to start an auction or something so you guys don't start robbing archery shops to support your hobby or turn to gambling like Floxter hehehe.

Used toilet wax? Do they make an un-scented type? Maybe I could hunt next to the sewage treatment plant, natural scent cover! I think I'll stick with my bees wax! Dick

I second Chessbum for MS tomato stakes for arrows. I use em mostly for stump shootin.

I second John for cheap glue. Gonna try the toilet wax.

I go to the local grain and feed store and pick up some of the empty grain sacks and fill them with rags and plastic shrink wrap or plastic bags for targets. Cost about one gallon of gas for several targets. Side benefit is I get to pic up a few primary turkey and goose flight feathers.

Fly line backing for serving material from Wal Mart, just like a bad steak, cheap and tough.

I'll have you know I only paid $320 for my Chek-mate. Next bow.....don't ask. It is stressing me already! O.L. offers too many options for my budget!
