Cabelas Extreme Stalkers
Anyone tried these - I just bought a dozen and here is what I have found -
Shooting a 65 lb @ 28" bear TD recurve - My draw is about 27 so I' m getting around 60-62lbs - The arrows are 55/70 Extreme Stalkers - cut 28 to BOP 4" feather - They are moving side to side at 25+ yards - which makes me think they are under spined for my draw - anything I can do with these or should I send them back - Anyone else had experience with these arrows
Thanks
Mike

RE: Cabelas Extreme Stalkers
When you say side to side do you mean the arrow his hittin left or right or do you mean the tail is pointing left or right? If the tail is kicking out try a five inch fletching; t' ll give you more steerage. How much side to side is there? If it' s a little bit don' t worry about it, if it' s a lot then obviously you' ve a problem. You might just have to retune for those arrows; I doubt they' re identical to the goldtips. If they are showin a bit weak you can try shedding some weight on the tips or raising the brace height a tad...that sort of thing. But in the end if you' re still unhappy then send ' em back or whatever. Hope that helps.
