Min string strands

Ive never used anything but dacron 50. I am curious if there is a noticeable improvement going with a much thinner string.
Oh yea, I see a good 3-5fps difference and arrows that flew stiff before now seems to fly great. But I am not too worried about that. But what I liked, was this recurve was always noisey with larger bundles.

With the 10 strands, it has quietened up quite a bit. Not sure why. So far I like it. It took me about twice as long to double serve and experiement, and padding bundles.

But I will always use B50 on my selfbows. I think its more gentle on things.
