Very nice John, congrats. I will be trying to get my first turkey in 5 more days. I only had to wait 9 yrs for a permit.

wtg John! One of the tuffest critters to hunt with a bow bar none, my hats off to ya! Keep ahold of those wingbones and the femurs. Make 2 or 3 piece wingbone calls, if ya need help I can walk ya through it if you dont already know how. I can also get ya going on using one easy enuf.

RE: 5 year turkey
Congrats on that turkey! This will be my first time to bowhunt for turkeys. We' ve got a dense population of them here in Ohio. I scared off several last fall and winter while I was deer hunting. Any tips for us beginning turkey hunters are greatly appreciated.
Lil Hunter, a friend gave me a couple dried out turkey wings w/ feathers still attached. I' ve read alot about turkey wing bone calls and many of them look like works of art. I' d like to learn how to use one as well. I' m going to see if I can get the feathers off these wings and boil the meat off to get the bones. I found some good websites on how to build a wing bone call.
