Ok, she was a fine hickory tree in my yard, but now she mine. Been drying about 4 months. Decided to at least rough her up a bit and floor tiller her.

And if she survivesmy tiller tree, and thats a big if, she will be called stonewall.

Still waiting for my boo. I am going to take the boo pretty slow on the barrel taper and try to get it right.

I still havent' cut the belly taper yet.I have no idea why I do this, but I got alot of irons in the fire.

Sounds like me. I am in the middle of making a headboard for the wife, some new shelves, and a computer desk. Along with that, ive got two bows going. One ill have done tonight andthe other, ill finish after doing some work on my belt sander. One of these days, im going to go home from work and just watch T.V.. Naaaaa, that will never happen.

In 1 way it is but other ways it's not

This is a new customer for me and he took me by surprise when he ordered 12 ( lucky I was sitting down)

Said he had been looking for a Bowyer for almost 2 years to make him dedicated bows but no one would do it. The only problem is I cant use the same wood combos on other bows, but hey thats no big dealthere's a ton of different woods out there

He claims he is going to keep me busy for a long time

Bob, if you are ever in the MD Pa area, I have a bunch of hickory staves and even black locust. Your more than welcome to have one.
