My bear is finally done!!
As many of you know I had problems with my Taxidermist finishing up a bear for me. Well finally after 8 years its home where it belongs. He is almost 8' long from head to toe. He dressed out at 325lbs and scored 20 5/16. The other bear (night hitter) that I did a thread on will make this guy look small!
Here he is the night I shot him back in 2000. I'm the young pup in the pic.
Here he is now in a rug mount. He won't be on the floor for long. I've got to get a few things so I can get him hung up on the wall.
Head shots.
He has a light blonde strip going down the middle of is back.

I have to hand it to you and the others on this site who get it done with trad gear, I absolutely LOVE the photos of recurves and long bows with the game they were used to harvest. That is a GREAT bear and an awesome rug. Congrats again on a nice trophy and a TREMENDOUS amont of patience!
