My setup is 50lbs on a 60 inch recurve. My draw length is 26 inches, if I get the Beman MFX Classics what size should I get 340, 400 or 500?

You will need 500 or even weaker spine. At your draw, your only pulling 45# probably.

My Beman MFX Classics offered by Cabelas are the best. I have my 400's at 29.5 inches on my #50Tomohawk longbow and they shoot terrific. I put 140 grain Magnus two blades on to drop the spine a bit. I also shot them from my #55 Bear Takedown with 125 grain heads and again they outperformed every other arrow I shot, even the A/C/C's. Be sure to spin every arrow as the hidden inserts will still wobble occasionally.

The GrizzlyStiks are all I shoot anymore. The full length taper is very forgiving in trad bows.

Never tried one. I can see spending $10 a piece for a good head but $25+ each is a bit steep. Like I said, I'd never let one fly!

I just got the shafts yesterday and got them bare shaft tuned. 30", 150 grain point, 15% FOC, finished weight should be about 610 grains with 5" feathers and a cresting wrap. I'll update with pics once I get them crested, fletched and fine tuned this weekend. The shaft taper is a lot more severe than I had anticipated; very interesting arrow.

They look nice. What bow you shooting it out of? Do you have any idea what spine (AMO) they are?
