No I shoot purely instinctive.......my arrows sure aren't long enough out front to give me any visual reference on the target.
Don't know about anchoring too high though? Pretty much every 3 under shooter I've seen anchors about the same way. Middle finger in the corner of the mouth or cheek and it will put the arrow right under your eye Like you see.
It does help me "feel" the shot quite nicely.

I have to agree with Matt. That is the most fun I have had in a while shooting. The recurve is freakin sweet. I had a blsat. Thanks for posting the pics Matt.

NOt at all. That Morrison is the sweetest recurve I have ever shot. I have never been more confident in a traditional bow that I have owned. The bow is the smoothest, sweetest shooting piece I have ever drawn or shot.

(In other words don't picture you or me LOL ,I have caught trout longer than Frank's inseam)
