Default Tip weight

Has anyone used Brass weight washers for adding weight to your tips??? I'm experimenting and wanting to get better flight from my arrows and was wondering if the 5 grains at a pop is going to affect the flight. Should I just go from 125 tips to 150 tips etc....???? Thanks!

I usually try the standard sizes first, and they usually work. But I have in the past had better flight inbetween sizes which in which I used the washers. It's a little easier to do then to increase to the next standard size tip, and shorten the arrow.
