Default When to refletch?

The feather that runs along the corner of the shelf on my arrows are starting to get a bit ragged along the edge. Will that start to affect the arrow flight eventually?

I've never had flight go bad because one of the feathers gets a little ragged. Even a lot more than a little ragged. Some of my arrows have feathers that look like they got dragged 30 miles on a gravel road and still shoot great.Don't bother refletching until it gets so nasty looking that you can't stand it any more.

And it sounds like you might need to raise your nockpoint a wee bit to keep that bottom hen feather fromdragging so hard on the shelf.
