I am seeking to identify / find a video I rented at Blockbuster Video back in the early 90's is my guess.[/align][/align]It featured a young bowhunter hunting on the ground with a Black Widow recurve bow Traditional style. In one hunt he rattled and called deer in using only vocal sounds made by himself. It was a great video (it was VHS then) but I can't recall who it WAS nor the video TITLE![/align][/align]Can anyone help?[/align]

That may be from the video's made by Paul Bruiner. He was about the only trad guy making hunting videos back then. Unfortunately, I can't remember what the series is called.

Hmmm - I just did a search on GOOGLE and AMAZON to no avail!

I recall him doing this 'hissing' sound with his mouth during his mock rattling/fighting sequence that blew me (and the deer) away!

Try Stoney Wolf Productions. I think they are the ones that produced most of the videos back then.

Nope - looked at all these guys' vids and it wasn't them either. I know the kid doing it had a Black Widow Graybark bow and was on the ground. It wasn't Ted Nugent, Jim Shockey or Roger Raglin either. Damn!

So far all the VHS vids I'm seeing itsn't catching my eye...

I e-mailed a Trad Archery shop that has been in business over 40 yrs - maybe they can help as well. All I can recall is this young guy with his Black Widow recurve calling in and taking this nice whitetail with nothing but himself on the ground and tree cover! It was crazy!

I think Dan Bertalin(? spelling) did some videos around that time. Some for ASAT camo and black widow, I think he shot a graybark takedown but most videos I saw, he shot basket racks and bears out of stands.
