Beaver silencers or Otter silencers?
Which one should I get for my Recurve? I'm goin' to get some silencers but what kind should I get? And I seen some calf hair groove silencers, do those work good? And I seen some muskrat silencers what about those? Do they work pretty good?

With fur silencers, it's less about function and more about what looks good. They're all pretty much equal when it comes to silencing ability and longevity.
Fur silencers don't work as well as rubber ones, for sure, but they look so darn cool!

I have some beaver balls on my Hill longbows(just for the cool factor-it's pretty quiet without silencers to begin with). My other longbows and recurve,I use cat whiskers

i have been told instead of the beaver go too the craft store and get some rabbit ...works just as good as the beaver...and will cost atleasthalve as much....i havent tried it yet tho. ...id imagine any fur will work animals are pretty impervious to water.....maybee ill try to make some strips out of squirrel when season comes around.
