recurve on the way!
Well I went and did it. I e-bayed a bow. I will soon receive my Darton Super-Flite Hunter. I hope it gets here soon. It is a 56" bow and 49# at 28". Anyone have a shaft recomendation for me? I think I want to shoot aluminum and will almost surely be shooting 3 under. Some people told me to get a longer, lighter bow but I am hard headed and it was a good deal I think. $75, what do you think?

i was lookin at the same bow....You stole it from me you *$*#*@#.[:'(]
i always wanted a darton recurve. they arenot pretty but i hear they shoot verry well.
Maybe someone knows.... i cant remember Who built the old Dartons?
i think you made a good choice Tex...i had my eyes on that bow too!!!!
hopefully when you get it nothing is wrong with it...let us know
56" is fine as long as you dont want to shoot 40+yards and your draw isnt 30 inches....it will give a lil finger pinch compared to 60-64" butnothing that isnt manegable.

Pretty is in the eyes of the beholder! You're just saying that 'cause I got it not you so HAHAHA!LOL. I had to keep bidding until I hit the reserve and no one bid after that. I was also bidding on a Browning and a Ben Pearson. The Browning sold for 160 or more, the pearson ends today I think.
