I got saved by the massive cut afforded by the snuffer once when I shot a michigan doe and at the shot she took a step forward, ended up hitting her a little farther back than I had planned. arrow came through, slit the diaphram and opened the liver up pretty good just barely catching a piece of the far lung. She only made it 80 yards, the furthest that any snuffer hit deer has gone for me. I might have been ok with a two blade but I'm sure there was a lot more damage done by the 3 blades than just two and in this case the massive blood loss, and those two big holes letting in lots of air to compress the lungs sure did the trick. Thank god for snuffers.
