But I was blessed with my compound this year. Shoulder is still screwed up. I thought about shooting my longbow this week, and pushed my shoulder rotating tires and now its back to hurting. Think this year is down for me with the longbow. But glad to hear some is killing.

I remember reading about your shoulder problems, that really stinks. I hope you still enjoy some success with the compound. I am sure you will be back to shooting the longbow as soon as you can. Just don't rush it. I have a buddy right now who has shoulder problems. The Dr. told him to stay away from his bow for this season. He was having a hard time trying to accept the idea of hunting with a crossbow and decided to try his compound about two weeks ago. He hurt his shoulder so badly that the Dr. told him he may never be able to draw a bow again.
