Default Another recurve question

Hi all,

This is a real easy one I promise LOL. I have a short draw of 28" with a recurve, would I be better suited with a shorter length bow, for instance the Martin Rebel. I will be doing the majority of my hunting in ground blinds. Is this bow fairly quiet and fast? As always thanks and HH.

Actually 28" is the draw length that is standard for bow poundage measurements so it's not that short. As far as a shorter bow, they are less forgiving so tougher for a beginner to handle. I'd go as tall as you can while hunting a blind.

28" is not short with traditional archery. If you have a 28" draw with a compound, then your draw will most likely be around 26-27" with traditional.

I shoot with 29" draw with my longbows, but 31" with compound (well I used to). My preference for traditional is in the 64-68" area. I have a 60" MOAB longbow which is a very nice bow, but it isa bit"fussy". I also have a 52" bear recurve, but the finger pinch is not fun.
