I think we tried something like that once here, but sent the actual targets to someone.

Hey it's also nice to see a post here!

Nice to see that there are still a few of you out there. I have been fishing and working none stop for the past few weeks, havent had my laptop around. Second 16 hour day in a row, and no I dont get over time. Hope to get out with the bow soon.

I would be interested to see how my shooting compares to others out there. See what you can set up. Were do you get those targets?

I was at Cloverdale (left early Thursday am, just got home last night).

We had a "postal" tournament on here for quite a while, and it was a lot of fun. Someone would take on the responsibility of sending out targets and keeping scores (none posted until all targets were in), and either that person or someone else would donate a small prize to the winner. The winner, or whoever wanted to "sponser" the next tournament would set the rules, send out their target of choice, etc. One of my favorites was a cartoon of a guy with a (life size, chest up) apple on his head. The guy had a tag on his jacket that said "IRS". I forget the distance, but the goal was to put as many holes as you could in the apple without hitting the IRS guy. The most holes in the applewon, but any hits in the guy disqualified you. My IRS guy wound up with a bunch of holes in his head (after the first goof, I figured I might as well have fun with it).

I'm all for it myself. I'd go as far as to say each participant could send a dollar or three to the sponser to offset the cost of targets and mailing. There's a few sites you can go to and print off targets. It's better to mail them out, so everyone gets the same target.

I am in for sure, dont have anyone to shoot with around here. Cant cost much to send out a target, what do they take 2 stamps. The only place I can get Targets is Gander MT, not sure what they have. Could make some on the come and get creative. It would take me a while to shoot 300 times with only one arrow in the quiver, got to get to work on that.

I dont think I would stand a chance with LBR (THE CHAMP) in this thing, but it sure sounds like fun.

LBR, still waiting to get you video, work enuf you would think I would have more money, soon vary soon.

...either that person or someone else would donate a small prize to the winner.
If it was me, I'd just send all the targets to the winner so's he could use 'em for blackmail.[8D]

If I could still shoot a bow, I woulda been up for it. Don't think you guys would let me play, using that horizontal bow of mine.

I've got a CD that has280 different targets on it. Animals, spots, designs,etc....... However, as big as I could get it would be printer size paper..... But we could make itinteresting, it would just be a small target......

I'll post a few examples shortly..... The good thing is I could probably email them to some of you as well.....

Maybe we could mail out 4 or 5 at a time and have different challenges and rules for each one?

Give me some ideas.... I have A LOT more targets!
