RE: The frustration ends!!!
very nice, congrats....
Dont store it in a corner and dont leave it strung in a hot place (ie car).
My bows are all hung on the wall vertical.
Also make sure you use a stringer to string and unstring the bow!

RE: The frustration ends!!!
Congrats on the new bow. What kind of arrows are you going to shoot? Wood? Aluminum? Carbon? I use to have a 45# Kodiak Hunter that I shot wood and aluminum out of. After shooting woodies, then shooting aluminums, I don't ever want to shoot aluminums again! They're way too noisy compared to woodies. Well made bows are pretty resiliant, so it'll take some serious beating to do so. It's a good idea to unstring it whenever you're not using it. However, when I had my Kodiak Hunter, I pretty much always left it strung. I shot about everday in my basement then, and usually multiple times a day. The stringer I had wasn't that great, so I just left it strung. It didn't hurt the bow at all. When I wasn't shooting I stuck it in the corner behind a tape case. It made it easy to grab the bow when I was bored and walk down to the basement and shoot. Like Lilhunter said, don't leave it in hot places, as in next to heat vents and such; especially if the bow is strung. Don't leave it in your car strung either when it's hot outside. If you take care of the bow, you won't have to worry about much, just inspect it every time you shoot for cracks and such. Hope you have a lot of fun with your bow.
God bless,

Congratulations. I owned a Griz and they're a pretty fair shooting bow. I think you'll enjoy it a lot.
If you are shooting the bow daily, you can leave it strung. It won't hurt the bow one bit. If you will be leaving it idle for long periods of time, you may want to use a stringer and unstring the bow and hang it on the wall either horizontally with supports under the wedges of the riser or you can hang it virtically like Lilhunter does. Just make sure that you don't hang it where it will get direct sun through glass or heat from a fireplace or heating system. Like was said too, don't lock it up in the trunk of your car and leave it for any length of time. Even on a relatively mild day, the heat in a trunk can be detrimental to a wooden bow.
Have fun
Make them sharp and shoot them straight, or leave them home.
