Default Need opinions on Anchor Pads / tabs, etc.

Anyone out there use an anchor pad on their tab. I jumped on-line to order a Black Widow tab and had lots of choices. Any idea how to measure your hand so you know what size to get? I shoot split finger (Med) style and just need a tab that has a little more feel and less material ( I'm using soemthing cheap, maybe a neet no-pinch?). As a new traditional shooter should I be using an anchor padof is it a gimmick? Thanks in advance for the help.

I've never heard of an anchor pad--what is it supposed to do?

Picking the right size can be tough--I buy my gloves at a shoot so I can try them on first.

Sorry I'm not more help here.

Anchor pads look like a plastic piece that sits behind the fingers and has a flat portion on top for an under-the-chin anchor. I think it is more applicable to target shooting. Thanks for the help, anyway.
