Bow Envy No More! Bill Lamb
Bill Lamb- I know longer have dreams about your bow, I have my own now, I picked up my new Crusader 1 piece from LBR today, 66"54#@28" Bacote veneers front and back and coccobolo riser, not any coccobolo mind you but a Fire orange coccobolo, with glue lines so tight the whole bow looks like one piece.
Got to LBR's he twisted me up a couple strings and we went to the basement and tested it, no nock, brace height set at 7.5" to start, nothing but the thump of the arrow hitting the target. I pulled the arrows and let Chad shoot and then pulled again and told myself to settle down and shoot and shot a 5 shot group that you could cover with a $.50 cent piece and in the process ROBINHOODED an arrow! I would usually be happy yet a little sad about this seeing as how I am such a chep skate BUT I was shooting some of Chads arrows so that makes it even better, Hey what are good friends for anyway! Anyhow I should have some pics tomorrow and I will ATTEMPT to try and post them.
Anyway Bill, you can stop putting your bow in bed with you at night, it is safe, FOR NOW!

Pat,
Congratulations! It sounds like a gorgeous bow. It took a little getting used to at first, but that lighter color cocobolo and bocote is beautiful.
I don't keep my bow in bed with me. But, I'm not gonna say where I do keep it! <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Pat,
The way I do it is go to yahoo.photos.com. I created an account with them and then create a folder for photos you want to put on the web. You have to go through the process of granting access to the public for those folders to which you want them to have access.
They will have access, however, only when you copy and paste the url or location for the web page containing the pictures. Try it, I think you'll like it.

Here are some of the pictures if you can get to them. This is the link good luck. http://photos.yahoo.com/patdaily09
when the link comes up click on My Photos on the left hand side of screen.
John Nail- I have settled my brace height at 7.25" I have not set my nock point yet as I am still foolin with the fine tuning but the sound is low with the brace where I have it set and it feels good. I placed the silencers at the 1/3rd and 1/4 marks of the string.

Pat,
That is one gorgeous bow. Want to trade? NOT!! I love my bow just the way it is, as I'm sure you do, too.
I like the exposed yew on my limbs. But the Bocote looks beautiful on yours as well. That is one gorgeous hunk of Cocobolo in the riser.
How does it shoot for you?
