Hey guys, I'll give you a little update. All I can say for now is that BowTech is stepping up big-time to fix this problem.

That's bad news, obviously something ain't right with this bow--repetitive failures aren't coincidential.
Have you have a chance to look at the Allegiance?
They're almost identical bows, except of course the difference in cams, a little more speed & less db's.

Sorry to hear...as you are finding out though..they will make it right....and then some.

I put alot of arrows through my 80 pounder at 5 grains per LB with no issues whatsoever....in fact...never had a limb prob w/ BowTech actually that I can remember...other then when UPS trashed my 2002 Black Knight in shipping...BowTech overnighted a brand new bow and dealt with all the UPS BS so I wouldn't have to.

Not saying they dont have their probs..but I've had cracked limbs from everyone BUT BowTech ...mathews, hoyt, pse, martin, etc etc...

Sounds to me like a pocket or rocker problem.

I think every company has their problems, and I also think that just like in any "litter" there are runts! IE Last summer, KANS and I bought brand new ViperTec bows. I shot mine just fine, no problems whatsoever. BEAUTIFUL bow. however, after 10 (maybe a few less) shots, the bushing for the stabilizer fell out of his bow. the threads were stripped and the bushing had been haphazardly glued in. it was sent back, fixed and returned to him. Same bow, they said. Then he could not shoot the thing for anything! He was all over the place could not get consistent ANYTHING out of it. finally he returned it and bought a mathews, his fail-safe. We learned from the shop that another guy had bought the bow that my hubby returned, had the same consistency probs, and returned the bow once again. Obviously, this bow was a 'runt'!

Buck Magnet I am glad Bow Tech is taking care of you. I hope all your troubles are behind you.
I might have sounded harsh when I said you should at least buy a good back-up bow. I was not in any way bashing Bow Tech when I said that.
I myself shoot a Darton Typhoon. I bought another Darton Typhoon off of ebay two weeks ago. I have it sitting at my local pro shop at this moment. My pro is setting this bow up exactly like my other Darton. We are waiting on a winners choice string. The reason I bought another Darton? I never want to miss a day of hunting, IF something goes wrong with my bow.
Give us a report on your new bow when you get it.

Good Luck,

Wolf Killer

My brother in law bought a new Darton Mag 33 when they came out and MAYBE got 75 shots out of it before the lower cam ate the serving off the string and cut a few strands[:@] This was the same day he bought it.

If it's made by man,, it can fail from time to time

Hey guys,

I really appreciate the kind words and all I can say is that BowTech has gone WAY WAY WAY above my expectations! I can't wait to start shooting again, but until then I got some trout fishing to do
