Morrell Yellow jacket target question
It says its for broadhead use only. The guy @ the shop I bought it from said not to shoot field points in it because you would not get the arrow out. Well, me just being stupid and curious shot one in it @ 20 yards, it was a little hard to get out but not that bad. My question is, could I harm my arrows by doing this?

I have one and agree with the proshop. If you find that it's not too hard for your arrows the only two ways I could see you harming one is-
1. the insert/ fieldpoint becoming seperated from the arrow inside the target.
2. Any extra side motion/bending/flexing of a carbon arrow upon removal is SUPPOSED to hurt the spine of the arrow over time according to certain post I've read on here along the way.

RE: Morrell Yellow jacket target question
I got one last year too.
And I agree broadheads only. I shot a few feild points in it and a few times I could pull them out with not a ton of effort but a few times just the opposit. I thought because i still shoot aluminums that i would not have that much of a problem. Well the last time i shot a feild point into it it was like it was cemented in. I use my arrow puller and pulled so hard I literally pulled the arrow in two. Never heard of that happening before. So the Yellow jacket will be for broadheads only and i just orederd one of the new Block 4X4 targets that will see nothing but feild points.

You guys must be limp wristed. I've been shooting field points w/carbons into my Yellow Jacket; and although they bed in firmly, they're not impossible to pull out.
