Easton ACC Kinetic II Shafts
Why didn't these arrows take hold? As I understand it these were ACC's in heavier weights with a camo finish. I see they are no longer made.

Could be wrong, be wrong before after all, but I think the ACC superslims or something like that are now the heavy hunting arrow version of ACc Superlite's. They go up to the 11 grain per inch area.

RE: Easton ACC Kinetic II Shafts
I figured the ACC Kinetics didn't sell due to the heavier weights and same price as the ACC's. Reason I asked is I have the opportunity to buy some of the AC Kinetic II.
Zak, I have no problems with the HIT system such as used on the A/C slims, Axis or Beman Max arrows. When they are in they should be as straight or straighter than regular inserts. The problem some have is not being able to spintest their broadheads before gluing in the inserts, but there is a way around it.

No problem Zak. Just went to the forums on Easton's website. From what I could find out........the A/C Kinetic shafts were not quite as straight as the ACCs and did not use a uni-bushing. I need to dig out an older Easton brochure.

Cougar The AC Kinetic II 300's are 11.6 gpi , the 340's are 11., 400's is 10.2 and the 460's is 9.4. The outside diameter also varies from .286 to .297--starting with the 460 downwards to the 300. As for spine the 460 is .44 and goes down to .30 for the 300's.
These are quite 'heavy arrows', so take your time and select what's right for yourself & the bow.
