Most Popular Accessories?
We are now at the beginning of another hunting season and I would like to look back over the last year to see which bow and bow accessories were some of the best for the last year. Take the word "best" any way you would like to...."most popular", "biggest innovation", "oldie but a goodie", etc....
Please feel free to elaborate on:
1) Bows
2) Sights
3) Rests
4) Stabilizers
5) Arrows
6) Treestands
etc...etc..etc...
Thanks ahead of time for contributing.

RE: Most Popular Accessories?
I will attempt to get things started although I wouldn't consider myself very conventional.
1. Last season I used my Q2XL for all of my elk and deer hunting. I'm not sure I like the term "best" because it is so subjective. I use a number of different bows. For example this year I am using my old Darton Maverick for elk hunting. I say old but it is practically new. New limbs, upgraded cam, 65% let off, it really packs a punch. Certainly not as quiet and perhaps not as forgiving as my Q2XL but just what the doctor ordered for those big tough elk.
2. Archer's choice Grizzly sight with a modified mepro pin standing in for the twenty yard pin.
3. Muzzy ZE. I am still surprised at the performance of this rest. I'm not wild about the looks, although I have gotten sort of used to it, but I can't complain about its performance under a variety of conditions.
4. Sims enhancer coupled with there new module system. I like it!
5. Carbon Express 400. They have served me well over the last 3 years. I am getting a lot of pressure from one of my friends to shoot the Nitro Stingers exclusively. I have shot them and they seem to perform well too.
6. I could get lengthy here. Many good models to choose from. I have over twenty tree stands of the fixed persuasion. For the money the Game Tracker baby Gorilla is hard to beat. However for verstility in an area where the trees aren't straight I haven't found a stand to beat a Buckfinder.

RE: Most Popular Accessories?
I'll base my answers on what I think was most popular amongst the forum and the community around my home.
Bows
Hands down, Matthews was the most popular. Next was Hoyt. Around here, Martin bows are making a statement. My next bow will probably be a Martin.
Sights
Trophy Ridge, with the in-line pin idea, seems to have picked up a good following but Pendulum sights had a strong showing for awhile there.
Rests
Muzzy Zero Effect rest seemed to bring drop away rest technology into the forfront. Drop away rests are now quite popular. As of late, the Whisker Biscuit has gained a large following...myself included.
Stabilizers
I think they go largely unsung but I recall reading alot of press about the little Doinkers.
Arrows
Way too subjective. Golden Tip Carbons stick out as being the most recommended though.
Treestands
For along time all I read about was API climbers leading the way in terms of recommendations. Over the past year though I think Summit climbers have slightly edged API out. Personally, I made a big switch to prefering ladder stands.
Camo
I believe Realtree is still the most popular and most common pattern however Predator was very highly recommended over the last year. Then ASAT seemed to gain favor.
guns
Everywhere I go, the old reliable Rem 870 is still the most recommended shotgun. I love mine.
Scent
Scent Killer seems to be the most recommended for eliminating human oder. Tinks 69 still ranks high as a deer attractant.
Purely subjective opinion of course.

Bows is an easy one. We haven't gone a day without a new thread on either the Mathews Legacy or BowTech Patriot.
Even though I really like and shoot Archers Choice (when I shoot sights), I'll have to go along with MJL on the Trophy Ridge sights. The ones I've seen are really something.
Easton Carbonaero Epics are a newer arrow that you don't hear much about yet, but with the way they've shot for me, I'll wager we'll be hearing more about them. It takes quite an arrow for carbon to pull me off aluminum, but it's done it for this season. Also the Beman Carbon Metal Matrix is an arrow I'm gonna have to try. They're right up my alley since they're heavier than ACC's.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Well I know your talking about bow acc but I've got a mathews so far really pleased Alpine soft loc works like a charm, Trophy ridge sigths although I sometimes have doubts. Probably the best thing I got late last year so haven't had a full year to use them. Don't laugh, BOOTS. I always wear rubber boots for deer hunting always used lacross. I seen some woody's muck boots and having heard some mention of them, tried them on. You cant imagine how light these things are but still really warm. You can't imagine how easy they are to get off yet fit really good. My wife makes fun of me cause I wear them around the yard with shorts when I'm practing. They are like putting on sneakers..
