Cam 1/2 vs. Binary

RE: Cam 1/2 vs. Binary
ewolf said it all. The cam and 1/2 has the draw stop engineered into the cam. The binary has a little add on knob that draws against the limb for a stop. Read Bowtech's summary to this cam on their web page. Want flawless and trouble free shooting. Hoyt's the answer.

Please just go and shoot both and shoot which you like better. Both are quality systems, I shot both and bought a Bowtech. You do get more speed with the Bowtech, if that is something you look for.

You were asking about Oneidas a while ago, and now your asking about the Binary cam. Well guess what? Oneida has had the same design since '82.
CP Oneida is the answer. Atleast I dont have to pay $150 on something to just change the string on it.

RE: Cam 1/2 vs. Binary
I don't know much about the binary cam system but would suppose that they work like the cam and 1/2. They appear to be a two cam bow but both cams are slaved together so they work in unison, giving the same characteristics as a solo cam bow with increased arrow speeds. IMO the solo cam craze will end with this system. Time will tell.Oh by the way, I am glad to see that everyone stands behind their equipment.
