Bowtech Pro 38 Dual Cam question
I see a few guys shooting the New Pro 38 with the dual cam and was wondering if we could get you to give us some info on them?
What kind of speed and accuracy are you getting? How do they compare to the single cam option?
I still have my MM and am hoping to get another Bowtech this year. It's a toss up between the BK2 and the ES.
MAN I LOVE THE SPEED!!!!!!!

RE: Bowtech Pro 38 Dual Cam question
Matt/Pa just got one and is setting it up and he said that he is going to write a bow report for us. I can't wait to read it so I can make an educated judgement on this bow. Hey matt hurry up with the bow report.

RE: Bowtech Pro 38 Dual Cam question
The dual cam Pro 38 is not going to be available for 2002, however they are making the BK2 real similar to what the DC Pro 38 was. The BK2 is now on the Pro style riser with brace heights of 5.5" and 6.5" available. The ATA is now 37.5" instead of 36" and it's available in 50-60-70# peak weights. The BK cam has been changed a little for a smoother draw and harder wall. The IBO speeds are 344-350 for the short brace and 333-339 for the tall option. If you need a 2002 catalog drop me an email at [email protected]

Hey BowTech_Shooter,
When can I expect to see the new Patriot at my proshop?? I am very anxious to shoot one. The shop said they were supposed to start shipping today. Is that true?? Thanks for any info.

RE: Bowtech Pro 38 Dual Cam question
BowTech_Shooter , I'm not sure if you can answer this question but here goes. Gander Mountain is listed as a BowTech dealer in my area , but I have yet to see a BowTech in their store , why is that? If it's one of those deals where they say they can order one for me , I'm not going down that road again , I've been burned before from buying a bow without trying it out first. I'm really interested in the pro38 or pro40.

Randy, and Brian......I'll be more than heppy to report on my new toy as soon as my body stops trying to liquify itself......
I've been so sick since Friday that this is the first time I've crawled in front of the computer let alone my new bow!
It just sits there staring at me in it's case.....not much I can do just yet. Be kinda tough to evaluate accuracy when I'm havingh trouble typing steady!
As BTS said this bow has been discontinued in favor of the BKII (high brace option).....I think they were planning on the change for the BKII for 2002 and were forced to axe the Pro38 DC because now they aren't 2 seperate entities.....nothing against the Pro38 DC......it is essentially the BKII (6.5" BH) version so my bow should compare very similarly to it.
My Pro 38 version has a slightly higher measured BH than what they advertise the BKII at.....mine measures 6.8"
When I can actually lift and draw the thing for a period of time without needing to hurl.....I'll get it thru a chrono and give it a good evaluation.
It's tough to sit here and not shoot it believe me.......at least I got it decked out the way I wanted. (It's fun installing sights etc. while up to your neck under the covers in bed.)
Stay tuned......I shall return. I hope.

RE: Bowtech Pro 38 Dual Cam question
BOWFANATIC, Not sure why they don't have any bows there. The Gander thing is kinda wierd. Each store has to be set up separatly as an individual dealer so just because one store can carry them doesn't mean all of them can. And they are not allowed to ship from store to store. Your right they are on the dealer list which may have been a mistake. They are not allowed to order onesies, twosies if they have never had any in the store. They are supposed to asap a certain number of bows right from the start. If you'd like I can find out and get back with you.
