My BC says 70# 29inch 320fps.
hmmm, it looks like you got one at the fast end of the spectrum. You lucky dog. I hope mine comes in at those numbers.

60# 29" 315 fps
70# 29" 318 fps
How do these numbers compare with some of the BCs around the country?

Yes those fall into the range. I was commenting on buckeyes because I think his might be a bit above the range by a touch. If you add 10 for 1" draw it could be up to 330.
Like the BK we got in at 29.5" shooting 350. THat was a fast one. Add another .5" and that puts you over their designated speed range.

My BC 60.9lbs 28" draw 300 gr arrow 303fps.
Bow set up with string loop and factory hush kit 400gr arrow 265fps.
Not at all too shabby for a 60lb bow with a draw lenght challanged shooter

Buck, and company......I have been reviewing your numbers for a while now and you're only 1# more than me with the same things on the string but your speeds seem to blow my Allegiance away........if you're positive on your numbers, it seems I have some work ahead of me to wring out some more HP. Any thoughts anyone????
At 61#/29" draw length with a loop, kisser, peep and huskit
304 grain arrow = 308 fps
332 grain arrow = 297 "
365 grain arrow = 285 "
381 grain arrow = 280 "
432 grain arrow = 265 "

Jerry
Those numbers are as correct as my chrono can read them. Seems your bow loses a lot of efficiency with heavier arrows than mine too?
I read where you said yours was a mess when it arrived? What was wrong? Maybe it is rooted from that?

If I run a calculation using a generous 92 grains of virtual mass you would need 90.4 ft lbs of stored energy to generate 318 ft/sec. Thats a stored energy to peak ration of 1.46. That's pretty hard to believe.
I checked Antler Eater's numbers for just the Allegiance and they seem reasonable. S.E.P. of 1.34.
I dunno???
My BC says 70# 29inch 320fps. I got 321fps with a 349 grain arrows after I got home at those specs. Adding peep and kisser only dropped me 2fps to 318fps. After I chose my arrows set them up and adjusted draw weight to 5 gpp. Ended up at 310 grains at 62# pounds. It still yields that same 318 fps. Lost zero efficiency on my set up dropping from 5 gpp at 70# to 5 gpp at 62#.
