RE: Bowtech LadyHawk?
BowTech is one of the top Manufactur's in the bow market today,I'm not familiar with the Lady Hawk but I do shoot the Patriot Dually and I love my bow .My kid's shoot the Rascal and it's a pretty good shooter as well,so the lady Hawk must be a pretty decent bow as well.I don't think you can go wrong with the Lady Hawk because BowTech has the best customer relation's in the market . I'm sure she'll be happy with it ,it's definetly as good as any of the other manufactur's in the market on a comparable basis.

RE: Bowtech LadyHawk?
The Lady Hawk should shoot in the mid 240s to mid 250s at that weight. That will, of course, depend on draw length and arrow weight. For 05, BowTech offer the Miranda. 32 1/2" ATA compared to 29" for the Lady Hawk. It also has 3/4" more brace, and gets the same speed. And there is now a draw stop on the cam.

You might want to check out what some of these ladies have to say in their product reviews of the bows they have shot.

Now I have never shot the Ladyhawk so I cant say anything about it.
I do own 3 Parker bows, Ultra Lite 31 Hunting Bow, Ultra Lite 31 Target Bow and the Phoenix 34 and can fully recommend the Parker bows. Some of the smaller bows may be a good fit for the smaller framed archer such as the Parker Challenger, Ultra Lite 31 .... but I wouldnt limit her selection to only short Axle to Axle bows.
I stand 5'4 and have shot a varience in A to A length bows and find I dont necisarily need a short A to A Bow... currently I am shooting the a Phoenix 34 inch A to A bow and am shooting just as well as I did shooting a 38 inch A to A bow.
A longer A to A bow with a lesser bow mass weight can be a real nice bow to shoot.
Get her to shoot the bows before buying to see what feels right and best fits her and her needs.
