Thanks GKF Tech!!!
Hey, do you need a field tester for this particular item. I would be more than happy to do that for a fellow board member!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> j/k
Thanks for the information, I was kind of thinking that I might be able to get away with switching without making my arrows longer. But I won't know for sure until I go out and buy one.

RE: I bought the Mirage but !
I just ordered a Mirage for my Legacy. Is there anyone out there with this rest on their legacy or icon that can give me some pointers when it comes to setting this up. I don't have any experience when it comes to drop away rests. Are the instructions detailed enough for a beginner to set this up or should I have my bow shop do it for me? Thanks

I have a Legacy w/ Mirage rest. The rest works great and is easy to set up. Here are a few pointers- I did not use the silencing tube. It will wear down over time and need to be replaced. I went with the bare wire and put some of that Bodoodle Smoke tape on it. Shazaam.... it works great, totally silent and its wearing like nails. If you do use the rubber tubing put some vaseline on the wire first so it's easy to turn down the road as necessary.
I put some dr.sholls mole skin where the launcher wire hits the bottom of the rest, its quieter than what comes on it. Also, from GK it has some silencing material on the arm that lifts the launcher wire. I found it made for difficult tuning and just took it off completely. This way the launcher arm always hits the steel stopper so it always stops in the same place every time. You'd think it makes some noise but it is still completely silent. Lastly, make sure your arrow reaches full lift about 2" from full draw. GK told me this was best for the Legacy and I can attest its true. Happy shooting.
