RE: Mathews bow quiver $100
All you guys who did not shell out the 100 bucks for a real Mathews quiver are SUCKERS.Thats right I said it!
For those of you who do not Know, this is what my Mathews dealer told me when I bought my featherMax.
"These super quivers are scientifically and computerifically designed to balance with the bow. A Mathews bow without a Mathews quiver will shoot much worse than one with the quiver. This is all because of the special balancation bracketuration mechanism built into every one of these top quality quivers. If you want to hit your target then it is a must to buy this quiver. You will see more deer, more women and more money(less the hundred of course) when you buy this quiver."
Some people amaze me. I don't want to get you guys too upset so I won't even get into what he said about the super machined aluminated rest.

I have the the detachable with the short bow bracket. I beleive the Q-32 bracket. I really wish that softloc would have been out when I bought mine 2 yrs ago. I have no complaints about my quiver only the $$$$ difference.

I unexpectedly got the bill for the Mathews Quiver as well when the pro shop set up my bow. He asked if I wanted a quiver on there and just put it on. I figured it wouldn't of cost more than $40 or so. I payed the full $100 though! If I would of know better, I wouldn't of gotten it then, and would of bought a cheaper one. Thing is, it has served me very well, and it's said and done.

I bought one for my SQ2. The main reason was that a standard quiver even with the offset bracket didn't mount the quiver up high enough for arrow ends to not hang over too much for this short bow. the only thing was that with this Quiver and the MZE, I had to make some stand offs to clear the MZE arm. If anyone needs a print for these, or needs them made, just email me.

ArcticBowMan can I work on your next bow when you buy it? I know this super duper magnum 250.00 arrow rest that you really need but you won't know about till you get the bill! Just teasing of course, anyway now to think about my mathew quiver I can't complain, it has served me for 2 years & now it is going on my new bow so I figure I can get another 3-5 years out of it or till I stop buying mathews bows. I guess looking at it at how long I plan on keeping it it was worth it.

I got stuck for one of those $$$ Mathews quivers for my MQ32. I bought the matching camo, one piece removable version that fits the short bow. The offset mounting bracket keeps the arrows from sticking out past the cam which is important to me since I ground hunt. It is very nice, but I think I would have been just as well off with that Alpine Soft Lock. The Alpine looks a lot better in person than in the catalogs.

That's okay moonge, I probably deserved that. I went into the pro shop with an open wallet, and got what I needed regardless of price. Heck, I bought a SKB bowcase that retails in Cabelas for $159, for $259! I really got reemed on that deal! I got a dozen free arrows out of it all though, guess I paid for them one way or another!

don't feel bad ArcticBowMan we have all got a story like that! I would imagine it costs a bit more for things to get shipped into your area than it does in the lower 48. at least you got a heck of a bow that will last for a while!
