RE: Someone Talk me into a Havoctec...Please!
Once again thanks for the replies, I have made up my mind after shooting the Havoctec at the local bow shop... If anyone wants a Mathews Q2(2001) in great shape, I placed one on ebay today. I like the Havoctec for the smooth draw and the adjustablitiy it gives me. I can go up to a higher let-off in the late hunting season. I shot my 420 grn arrow at 270 fps at 28"draw 71 pounds.

Hmmm, a used Q2 you say? Should I go over to "the Darkside"?? <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
No worries on this one...I would guess that you had the 28 inch cam on it, right?
Darn...you Mathews guys almost had me...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I had a Q2 and couldn't get it to shoot. Think I had a lemon. Factory or dealer wouldn't help so I traded it for a Hoyt UltraTec. Best thing I ever did. Shooting the Hoyt is like night and day over that Mathews bow. Saw a havatec this weekend. Great bow. My friend bought the last Havoc he had on the shelf and is very happy with it.

PaBowhntr,
I am selling it with 2 cams 27.5 & 29. It is a great shooting bow, but I just got used to my MQ1 with the 80% letoff and a just hair to heavy for me. I think with the Havoctec I get the best of both worlds, a light and short bow with a high letoff. Believe me, if I did not have to sell my Q2 to buy the Havoctec, she wouldn't be on ebay right now.

Robinhood,
Thank you kindly for the offer...but there would be a problem...I have a 31 inch draw length....and the Q2 is only offered up to a 30 inch option....so, though I think I could get use to the 30 inch draw length given time and a string loop etc... I definitely do not think 29 would work. Thanks again and good luck with the auction.
