RE: Small fixed head choices
I've been shooting some Innerloc Stainless Extreme 100's and they seem to be very well built.....more so than Muzzy's and they won't rust (stainless......who knew?). Blades hold their edge better too.

I saw two elk shot with the iron heads this year. Both arrows hit ribs. Of the two neither were a pass through and on both the heads lost a blade or two. The arrows were hitting with approximatly 75 foot pounds. I wasn't very impressed with them even though both elk were recovered. Blood trail was minimal.

Shootn fixed heads with 2 1/2 inch vanes is like trying to put Anna Nichole in a-cups , I think youd be better off shootn 4 or 5 inch fletching for fixed heads , allot less dificult to tune .

ijimmy: I would have agreed with you until I tried Bohning Blazer vanes. My broadheads (Muzzys, Phantoms) shoot very well out to 40 yards.
BTW, those who are shooting the newer Slick Tricks, are the blades sharp enough as they come? I just (once again) decided that I am going with Muzzys for tomorrow morning's opener due to the fact that I can't get the Slick Trick blades sharp enough. I did get mine the first year they came out, and I've heard that they are sharper now, but I can't get my blades sharp enough to be confident in them. I know I should have ordered more, but waited too long for this year.[&:]
