As an avid bowhunting enthusiast, my sincerest thanks. As a former editor who still maintains a passion for well-written prose, my hat's off to you.

Again,thanx all..you folks are making me blush<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Ausie,

I'm not familiar with the MZE at all other than concept, so I would ask further with someone else..

5SHOT,
actually I do hunt and peck.. I have to look at the keys as I am typing..I've just been doing it for 18 years or so, so I've become fast at it (I still make tons of mistakes if you'll look at most of my posts)

All,

And update of sorts..

Stodr,
Actually the Muzzy ZE working properly on a bow DOES have to do with the limbs.......
The ZE is driven to it's high and low positions by the amount of cable slide travel a given bow has.......this cable slide travel distance is controlled in part by the amount of limb tip travel from static to firing positions.......
The ZE only has so much built in leverage that allows it to work with small slide travel measurements.
It seems about the minimum for proper function is about 1.5&quot; of slide travel.

I remember Pat saying that the Patriot he &quot;THINKS&quot; has at least that........This is also an issue for me as I am planning to install my ZE on my Patriot when I recieve it.........and I'm having my doubts.
I just can't see that slide moving very far at all. The rest barely had enough leverage to accomodate the Mighty Mite and Tech 29, so I'm hoping it will make it.

Jeff, at the risk of being redundant, I have to say great report. I planned on checking out the Patriot when I look for a new bow, but after your report it moved up a few spots on my list. Now I just have to find a place that has a lefty Patriot for me to try.
