Default RE: Jennings bow ?

CI,

Are you referring to the "Shockstop" cable guard slide?

I picked one up just to tinker with but the "high-low" cable configuration holes on it don't match up with any of the bows that I currently shoot.

It does effectively reduce string noise and vibration...no doubt about that....but I have heard from others that similar devices were tried in the past and they resulted in excessive string wear in the area that they came in contact with the string.

I'm no expert , but I do have a new Grandmaster .
That string stop deal is beating the serving up pretty bad , and I can't imagine it would be much if any louder without it .
I would have changed over to a normal cable bracket but did not get one with the bow .
The bow is a great shooter , and as soon as I get a regular bracket I'll probably shoot it more , but right now I have a new cyber-tech I can't put down.
If you want a good deal on this Grandmaster fire me an E-Mail , it's 70 max 29 draw .

I have a Bear TRX with the shock stopper on it. The first one broke. When the shop replaced it they said it will probably break again. The bow is extremely quiet. I haven't shot it without the shock stopper, though.
