I'll keep it short & sweet.

HCA made GREAT bows in the early 90's. Then they went to CRAP shortly there-after. Our local shop was one of the biggest HCA dealers back then. When the bows started blowing up as regularly as the sunrise...they dropped them.

A couple years ago they brought HCA back into their shop, and all was well...for a while. Now the dang things are coming apart again. Limbs are cracking and they're having problems with the carbon risers.

Looks like the lousey QC is happening all over again.

The shop shooters won't use them anymore and the shop is AGAIN dropping HCA from their inventory.

Last year hca was installing there limb bolts with an impact wrench, which caused the problem with there risers. This problem has been adressed from what I have been told. I was also told that there limb vibra-armor has been improved also. I have a good friend that has an HCA dealer ship, and they haven't seen any problems lately. In my opinion, I think they are a super great shooting bow. And I would not be one bit affraid to purchase one, if I wasn't so hung up on the Dartons and the c/p/s system. In fact, I have a best friend that shoots a HCA bow, And it's accuracy and consistancy are unbeatable.
