I shot a Patriot last night with just a TM hunter style rest on it. No other accessories were attached, not even a stabilizer and it was quieter then my Mathews LX. I know this does not help much, but I can tell you the bow is very quiet which makes me think screws or arrows are your problem

He really liked that Patriot. You should have seen the smile on his face!

My wife has the '04 Patriot VFT and I have the Justice Both are very quiet bows but I've noticed that her Pat seems to be getting a bit noisier, then I noticed that a few "fingers" are missing from the factory silencers. Not much noisier but noticable and before deer season, I'll probably put on the old standard cat whiskers
I'll say this though, she is shooting better than she ever has. The '04 Patriot VFT is IMO the best hunting/casual 3D offering from Bowtech yet

Another thing to look at is the shrink tubing that goes over the speed nocks on the cam end of the string. I've owned bows in the past (BowTech & Hoyt) that the shrink tubing didn't get shrunk down tight and it would make a slight buzz/rattle sound which can be very annoying if you don't know where it's coming from...

After reading this thread I checked the module screws on my new Justice. Probably 300 arrows shot, and I thought it was getting much noisier than when I brought it home. One of the module screws was loose. Going to the hardware store for Loctite this morning.

Had I just not spent more money on my bow, I think I would have bought it!

Of all the bowtechs i sold, the ones that rattled ( only 2) had loose module screws or loose draw stop (post setting) screw. 2 second fix.
