I threw on some limb saves for solid limbs. I put them about 1/2" below where it forks. Now my POI has dropped 2 maybe 2.5" at 30 yards and my 3" groups at 30 yards are now 5". Guess I better paper tune. Happen to anyone else?

Yes indeedy limb savers will slow your bow down. How much limb energy the savers knock off depends on the type of limbs, draw-weight, setup, etc.
Anytime you put something on the limbs or string of a bow, in most cases you will lose some speed (stored energy).

I've seen both cases..speed loss and speed gain...depends on where you put them and how much vibe/recoil the individual setup has.
But it's usually only a couple of FPS either way...shouldn't cause a 2" drop at 30 yards. Are you positive the buss cable or string is not contacting them in their forward motion?

JeffB, It look like I am now poiporsing (however it spelled). I get nice vertical groups at 30 yards now not 2" wide, but 6" tall. I am going today and paper tune again. These limb savers did quiet down the bow however significantly. I think its worth the effort to retune.
