I'm switching to carbon arrows and want to fletch my own arrows. I have an old Arizona fletcher that I used for my aluminum arrows, but was told I need a different jig for carbons. I single arrow fletcher is fine. Also, will fletch tite glue work on carbon? Thanks for any recommendations.

Jeff.
I have the AEF for aluminum arrow and fletch my Axis with it no problems at all.
The glue I use is the Beyond Bond I get it in a 2oz bottle it is a little on the expensive side @ $16 but it holds great the only problem is it holds too good and makes re-fletching a bit of a pain.

Here's a vote for the Bitz. If ya don't wanna spend the extra money for the Bitz then buy the Grayling, it's pretty much the same thing but a plastic version. My favorite glue for carbon is Bohning Fletch Tite II Instant Gel.

I have 12 bitz jigs on a lazy susan...
As far as the AZ fletcher... it depends on which kind of carbons you have... if they're the thin diameter shafts.. you'll have too much play and the fletching won't be evenly spaced. If you're using a larger diameter carbon shaft.. then it will work just fine.
