How long is to long?

RE: How long is to long?
I prefer my arrows to be 3/4" to 1" past the furthest point of the rest.

OK, I guess I may be the one who prefers something different. Since all I shoot are fixed bladed broadheads, I prefer them to go a little past my knuckles. It's really just a safety thing though, in case the arrow happens to come off the rest. I'd say that my arrows are right in that neighborhood of 3" past the rest.

However long a bare shaft test tells you. It has to be in relation to the bow. You should never cut arrows without retuning the bow. The shorter the arrows are the more poundage, draw length, or point weight you need to counter act the stiffer arrows.
