I rinse of the arrow and clean the broadhead real well. Then re-sharpen the blades, fling it at a target once to make sure everything is still in place, then put it back in the quiver. I killed 3 deer last year with same arrow, unfortunatly the 3rd deer broke the arrow or I would still be shooting that sucker.

Here's what I do:
1.) Thoroughly wash entire assembly with soapy water--very carefully since broadhead is still attached. Carefully check CLEANED arrow for cracks (I use carbons).
2.) Spin test to check straightness.
3.) Shoot 2-4 shots at BH target from varying ranges to verify accuracy.
4.) Remove BH, clean thoroughly, replace blades and reassemble.
5.) Spin test again to confirm BH alignment.
6.) Retire arrow . . . lol. Replace in quiver

I clean the arrow shaft with denatured alchohol , strip the feathers and re-fletch it , clean off the broadhead , change the blades and place it back in my quiver provided it still passes my spin test.
