swamp dog mount it on a piece of rubber or a folded piece of coarse sand paper.

I agree with Jeff B. a very thin piece a rubber will keep sufficient pressure against your rest arm.
I always inserted rubber under my Cobra mount before I went to the MZE

Yep, the set screw came loose. I didn't realize it was even there. I had overlooked it. Tightened it up and works like a charm again! Thanks!
