I have the same complaint about the sight holes, and have mentioned it here and on the bowsite, and have yet to hear a reason why they would move them up. Does anyone know of a reason?

It's not that they raised the sight mount holes but they lowered the grip position 1/2" and not the sight mount holes. The sight mount holes stayed in the same place as before. I was doing a little measuring yesterday on my 2001 Pro 38 and this years Pro 38 and Patriot and thats the results I came up with.

I was comparing the patriot to my extreme solo. If you measure the distance from the rest mount hole in the riser to the first sight mount hole, it's about an inch higher on the patriot as compared to the ES.
