Extreme 1- I highly recommend the alpine glide slide for it. I've got a Pat VFT and love the way the rollers on the alpine slide make the draw feel. Perfect for me. Give it try, if you don't like it return it.
The way the alpine goes on you don't need to press it either, just a little muscle.

My latest chrony results = 29" draw , peep, hush kit and string loop,
bow pulling 65#= .
It will fling a 420 grain arrow- 264fps
395 grainer 272fps
385 grainer= 283fps

I know those sound slow, but my chrony is consistantly 7-10 fps slower than the two pro shop chronies I've compared it to. I just have a hard time "adding" #ers to what mine says.

You picked up 11 FPS for a 10 grain drop in arrow weight?!

BowTech singles are definitely very efficient w/ lighter arrows, but I've never seen anything like that!

The 385 grainers were a neighbors who brought over his Gladiator to play with, so I'm not too used to what numbers my bow shot his arrows at. ( might have picked a high # out of the few times I flung that one) and now that I think about it they might have weighed 375, yep I rembember scaling them now- 375.
My bad.

BUT I do shoot my 395's and 426 (now 420, I cut 1" off) regularly and there is a 9-11 fps difference in them, so...........

Good eye Jeffb- you got me! I assure you it was a mismemory and not a thought induced lie.
My memory ain't what it used to be.........

No prob..I was just bustin' on ya I figured something was amiss with the numbers...and definitely as the arrows start getting super light they will get down into the 2-3grains=1FPS

My memory has started to wander a bit as well..children will do that to ya..now I know what was wrong with my father

Just noticed something...

Buckeye...your cables should cross underneath the cable guard. Having them crossed above creates too much string angle coming off the idler, and the cable coming off the cam. It tends to make them louder as well.

I must ask if you are sure they are supposted to cross underneath the cable guard? This is how they crossed with the factory cable guard slide, out of the factory sealed box when I bought it. Let me know, thank you for your help.

Good eye Jeff Yes the cables are supposed to cross below the guard rod.

Yep..they indeed are supposed to be crossed under the guard

Some folks purposely cross them above for use with drop-aways that run to the slide (allows for a bit more travel), but IMO it's a bad idea as it puts extra pressure where you want less.
