XX78's or XX78 Super Slam Selects ?
Toying around with idea of going back to aluminum arrows ! Figure XX78'S are about the best........right ??
Would you guys get the XX78 with the uni bushings or go with the Super Slams with the tapered end and SWAG nocks ??
Also: I'm shooting on 76# , 28" arrow, single cam bow.............looking at the 2315 arrows..........good choice ???

2315's are sturdy and durable, one of my favorite sizes. With 100 gn tips, they should be perfect for your setup. 125's would probably work fine, but you'd need to experiment with 'em.
I'd prefer the uni bushings over the swaged ends, myself.

If I had a choice, I'd go with swag, but unfortunately, they don't make them in my size. The only reason would be the elimination of the bushing which would reduce weight in the back of the arrow, which would in turn give me a little better FOC. I made a bunchof them for friends, and everyone seems to like them a lot.
BTW, good to see you back Arthur!!!

I prefer the unibushings vs. the Super swage, simply because it's more durable i.e it can take nock end hits better than the swage.
As for spine you may find the 2315s a bit weak @ 76 pounds if your draw length (not arrow length) is 29" or greater. While they are a 340 class spine, you've got a big heavy outsert on the front which does weaken them up quite a bit. I would say without being able to test shoot any shafts beforehand you should look into a 2415/2514.
As for the diff between XX75s w/ bushings and XX78's...there is not a big diff...the XX78s are *slightly* more durable, and *slightly* straighter, but when talking alum, they are all extremely straight from the get-go.

I had the XX78s with the unibushings. They did save the arrows from nock end hits. I've heard that the super swage shafts are toast if you ding them in the nock area. Don't know for sure. With the kind of groups you shoot with that Outback, that could be a factor.

RE: XX78's or XX78 Super Slam Selects ?
The wife and I were just out shooting and she only brought out 3 arrows She's shooting 3555 Gold Tips and I was shooting 2314 X7's I was taking a break and when she got done shooting her 3 arrows, I handed her one of my 29 inch 2314's. She is shooting 55 pounds and a 26 inch draw and the first 2314 she shot went right into the X at 20 yards. I kept handing her my arrows and she continued to pound the X and had a very tight group!!! As I watched, the arrow flight was perfect and they really didn't seen much slower. I told her that we should get her some heavier aluminum arrows sometime and see if her groups get smaller. I'd suggest getting the ones with the unibushings also.
