Update. Got out yesterday a bit to check out the scene of the crime...
Appears the buck was headed to a big patch of mulberry trees that were dropping fruit like crazy. Ground underneath then is well stomped
From the direction he was coming from, helps narrows down which patch of woods to start looking for his beds. Only problem is, it looks like one I don't have permission to hunt. Did have, but, long story wrought with grief, mostly mine
However, it's only a clue, and sooner or later he'll head to where I do have permission. I'd love to get his bedding area nailed down, and stick him opening day. But wouldn't we all...
