Default PAPER TUNING

This is an addtional question regarding paper tuning. I got the concept of tail left tail high etc. but how far away are u supposed to be from the paper and the paper from the target. (ie: yards or feet and how many) Also any recomendations on the type of paper and how to hold it (Loose leaf in a picture frame??)

Any info will help.

Thanks

fawn shows that you are a new member
as fot paper testing shoot at a distance of 6 feet in front of the paper, any farther back will allow the arrow to correct its self in flight

go to easton's web site and look under the downloads. Down load their tuning guide. It goes into depth about paper tuning and other ways to tune.

6 feet at first then step back to 12 feet and see if it still looks good . Somtime , often in fact , you will get a good tare close and have an awefull tear futher away .

good advice ijimmy, If you only adjust at one distance you could be tuning to the harmonics of the arrow at that distance.

Depending on the size and thickness of the paper used, if I crumple it up real tight, I can hit a trash can a good 30' away![]

Welcome to the herd, fawn.
