Default RE: finger release

I grab a whole handful of string, my tab is a medium untrimmed. Small tab ring will not fit on my finger. If you are pulling your fingers out away from your face that is called plucking. Try to do as arthur said and pull back into the wall and just "relax" your fingers. Follow-thru should find your release hand behind your head as the arrow hits the target. Not out from your face.

I shoot fingers and was having problems with my form also. I bought Bernie Pellerites book Idiot Proof Archery and this has turned out to be a good purchase. He talks about how the proper release should be done. It is a very informative book and pretty much tells you what they are telling you. It has helped me with my form.
Good Luck
