Default Browning Tornado VS. PSE Whitetail Extreme

I am just starting out bow hunting. These are the 2 bows I am looking at. Which one do you think is better? The people (mostly family and friends) are right down the middle....

Since Browning no longer builds their own bows, I would go with the PSE. I am a little biased anyway. The Whitetail Express is a good set up.

Yeah, but doesn't PSE build Browning bows now? So you can't really be that biased...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I have set up and shot probably about a dozen Tornados and I have set up and shot a Whitetail Extreme.

Both are good bows. Both have decent brace heights. The Whitetail Extreme is a little shorter in axle to axle length, around 34 inches while the Tornado is closer to 36 inches.

The Tornado has the super adjustable Cyber cam while the W.E. has one of PSE's &quot;not really adjustable&quot; single cams.

I really enjoyed shooting the Extreme and since I am into short bows right now I would probably have to give it the nod for &quot;feel&quot;...for me.

Since PSE makes the bows, and browning designs them, its a hard one to call, Ive set up alot of the tornado's because wholesale sports doesnt sell PSE. Something about us being in competition with russel's who also owns porcupine creek supply. I don't know much about the browning besides selling them, I do know that PSE has pretty good equipment from shooting a few of their bows. So it's up to you really in the end. Good luck.
