arrow spine and whisker biscuit
I placed a post on this subject a bit back and just wanted to try and get a little more info.
I will be shooting a PSE Dakota (41" ata) with an approx. 29.5" draw length and want it set at about 62#. I will have a WB deluxw QS. The first responses said that my 2213 arrows (fyi - w/ 125 gr. muzzys) will be underspined for this setup and they suggested 2314s. Not that I don't believe/trust them, just wanted to get more input and info. Maybe some of the WB experts (5shot and others) have some advice. Thanks in advance.

If you look at the Easton shaft selection chart you should use either a 2315 or a 2219 for that 125grain broadhead, 62#bow and 29 1/2" arrow. The 2213 is under spine for your setup. Good luck hunting!

I would agree the 2213 is probably not going to work. Of course you really won't know until you try it. I would say you would be better off with a stiffer arrow though. go to www.bowjackson.com and run the shaft selector program from easton. I have found that WB are a little more sensitive to spine that drop away rests, and they seem to prefer a stiffer arrow. I tried tunning a buddys bow with arrows that were "correct by the chart" although the chart seemed a little weak to me. I ended up having to more three sizes stiffer to get a good tune. Once I did his bow was shooting great. so well infact that he doesn't want to change a thing.

thanks for the info guys
man, I was pretty sure I was going to have to switch arrows, but really didn't want to, I have 10 or so 2213 that are still good, oh well - I want to have the correct set up

You didn't say what your arrow length was just your draw. If you have room, you could cut your arrows shorter. Maybe 2" if your broadhead clears your riser. That would stiffen your shaft and maybe you don't have to buy new arrows.

Because the whisker biscuit can be shot as an overdraw you may be able to shoot a 27" arrow, pehaps a 2117 or a 2216. You really need to read the chart to understand your options. The shafts are rated from A which would be the stiffest to C which would be the softest. Generally you should choose the stiffer ones for the biscuit. Good luck hunting!

I ran my info thru the Easton site and came up with a few choices (they were somewhat different than the bowjackson site (??). It looks like I will go with 2315s (especially reading the info in the similar post below)
Thanks for the info.
