What would be better to go with,

A set up that yields 250fps with 415 grain arrow (ke 58lbs) or

A set up that yields 256fps with 390 grain arrow..(ke 57lbs)
(carbon arrows)

I am looking for any and all comments...Thank you

For hunting whitetail deer sized animals, you would be very hard pressed to find any difference.

With that little difference, pick the arrows that shoot most accurately for you.

Not enough difference to worry about. Especially the speed. I dropped 40 grains on my 3-D arrows thinking that 8 fps would make a huge diffence. It only made a 1 in difference at 50 yrds. The rest of my pin gaps stayed the same. Like Arthur P said. Go with the one that shoots the best.

I agree not a heck of a lot of difference here.I don't think it would really matter a whole lot.

Just to give the momentum guys a plug...have you checked the momentum of each arrow against the other? There is not that big of a difference in weight or speed but maybe more of a significant margin with momentum.

I would probably go with the heavier one...just to be on the safe side.

Are both arrows carbon ? Or just the lighter one ?

If the heavier of the two is an aluminum (seems light for alum.).....it's probably a fat shaft with a thin wall ! If that's the case ....I'd opt. for the carbon arrows = the smaller diameter shaft would give you better penetration and durability IMO (if that's the case) !!
